Plain-language answers to “what happens to my Excel?”
Uploaded Excel files
- Your file is stored temporarily under a random name, read once to produce the analysis, and deleted immediately afterwards — usually within seconds.
- The original file name never appears in any web address.
- Files are never shared, sold or used for anything other than producing your dashboard.
Analysis results
- The computed summary (counts, charts, column names, a five-row preview and lists of possible duplicate values) is kept for 7 days so you can revisit your private link, then deleted automatically.
- You can delete your results immediately using “Delete my results now” at the bottom of your dashboard.
- Your dashboard link is long and random. Anyone you share it with can see the dashboard, so share it only with people you trust.
Please don't upload sensitive data
This is a demonstration tool. Please don't upload confidential, classified, financial, medical, password-protected or sensitive personal information. A sample or a copy with sensitive columns removed works just as well.
Enquiry form
If you choose to send a requirement, your name, contact details and description are stored so that I can reply to you. If you had uploaded a file in the same visit, a short summary of it (file name, number of records and columns, column names) is attached to your enquiry. Your details are never shared with third parties or used for marketing lists.
Cookies
The site uses only essential cookies — a session cookie that remembers your uploaded analysis during your visit, and a security token for forms. There is no advertising or tracking.
